Use the AI assistant to help write, plan and edit your website. Clear context and a specific target make the result easier to review.
Give it accurate business context
When setting up or updating the website's business details, describe the service, audience, tone and real facts the assistant should use. A good brief is more useful than a long list of vague adjectives.
For example: “We provide bookkeeping for independent consultants in the UK. Explain the monthly reporting process in plain English. Do not invent prices or testimonials.”
Updating business information does not mean every existing page has been rewritten or republished. Review the pages that need to reflect the change.
Choose the right task and context
Open the website or page you want to work on, then open AI Assistant. For a change to one section, select it and name the intended change. Check which website and page are open before asking for edits.
You can ask for advice, draft wording or an edit. Make the desired outcome explicit:
“Suggest three clearer headlines; do not change the page yet.”
“Replace this introduction with two sentences for first-time managers.”
“Keep the three-card layout and links, but shorten each service description.”
If the assistant needs missing information, provide it rather than expecting it to invent the answer.
Work in small, reviewable steps
Make one meaningful request, then check the result. Confirm the text, layout and links before asking for another change. Broad instructions such as “fix everything” make it harder to see what changed or explain what is still wrong.
A response in chat is not by itself proof that the intended page changed. Inspect the selected content and the visible result. If the target is wrong, identify the exact section or page in your correction.
Review before publication
Check names, prices, claims, testimonials and contact details. For design edits, check the narrow-screen layout and button destinations. For a generated image, confirm that it fits the intended position and does not misrepresent real people or customers.
Save the draft you want to keep, preview it and publish when ready. An AI edit or saved draft does not prove the public website has been updated.
Usage and errors
AI activity uses the workspace's available allowance. Check AI credits and usage when a request mentions credits or limits.
If a request fails, read the visible error and check whether any change was applied before retrying. For repeated failures, provide support with the website, time and requested outcome without private customer data.
