Set up and switch workspaces

A workspace keeps your websites, collaborators, subscriptions and AI credits together. Start by checking which workspace is selected before changing settings or buying a plan.

Set up your first workspace

During onboarding, Pineapple asks for your company name. Enter the name you want to use for your workspace, optionally add a company icon, then select Create.

The workspace name must be unique. If the name is already taken, choose another name. Use letters, numbers, spaces or hyphens.

Once setup is complete, create your website from the dashboard. You can work on more than one website inside a workspace; you do not need a separate workspace for every website.

Switch to another workspace

  1. Open the workspace switcher at the top left of the dashboard.

  2. Choose one of the workspaces available to your account.

  3. Open Websites to see its websites.

The switcher lists workspaces you already have access to. If you need a separate workspace and cannot find a creation option, contact support. Do not buy another subscription just to make a workspace appear.

Update the icon and editor language

Open Workspace settings → General to update the workspace icon.

Editor language on this device changes the Pineapple interface on your device. It does not translate your website content. Website content language is managed in the individual website's settings.

A workspace or website is missing

Check the account you signed in with, then check the workspace switcher. If someone invited you, use the same email address as the invitation. Ask the workspace owner to check Team Members if you still cannot access it.
