Collect and display customer testimonials

Use testimonials to show real customer experiences. Pineapple lets you collect entries, review them and display published testimonials on the relevant website.

Choose the right website

Open Testimonials from your website or workspace dashboard. In the workspace view, choose a website under Share your collection form. The website view already links new submissions to that website.

Check the paid-access requirements shown in your account. A website's testimonials and a workspace's complete collection are different views of the same managed content.

Share the collection form

Choose Open form to inspect the form, then Copy link when you are ready to share it with a customer. Explain what feedback would help: what they needed, what the service was like and what changed for them.

The form asks for permission to publish the testimonial with the person's name, role and company. Use only genuine feedback and check permission before making it public. Do not submit a customer's words or identity as though you were that customer.

Review a submission

Find the entry in the dashboard. Use search and the status filter to locate pending or published testimonials. Check the wording, attribution, rating, media and website assignment.

Use Edit to correct an agreed detail. Do not change the meaning of a customer's feedback. Select Publish only when the entry is ready to appear publicly. Use Hide to stop displaying a published entry while retaining it in the dashboard.

Add the Testimonial Wall

Open the website editor and add a Testimonial Wall block where the evidence helps the visitor decide. Choose an appropriate layout and number of testimonials. See the Testimonial Wall reference for its display controls.

Save and publish the website page containing the block. Publishing a testimonial and publishing a new block on a page are separate actions: both must be ready for a visitor to see the intended result.

Check the public result

Open the public page and check the quote, author details, images or video, and the layout on a phone. Make sure the content belongs to that website.

If the wall is empty, check the entry's published status, its website assignment, the website's access and whether the page containing the block is published. A pending or hidden testimonial is not evidence that the public wall is broken.
